The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The room was lovely with great attention to detail. The breakfast was the best we’ve ever had in a hotel. A fantastic stop along the Camino.

The Hotel da Oliveira is within the historical Guimarães city centre, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The Guimarães Castle, the city’s most iconic landmark is 150 metres away. The position of the hotel was fantastic with lots of eateries and cafes in the area surrounding the hotel. Staff were always available and very helpful. Would stay there again.

Located in the Peneda-Gerês National Park, Lagoa Azul do Geres offers apartments and rooms overlooking Albufeira da Caniçada and the outdoor pool. amazing hotel with an incredible view of the lake and mountains. staff very friendly, breakfast very good, room very clean. will definitely come back 🥰🥰🥰

Situated in a 12th century Augustin Convent, the Pousada Mosteiro de Guimaraes overlooks Guimarães. Rooms are equipped with modern amenities including air conditioning and cable TV. The most outstanding element were the staff who were fabulous, kind and helpful. Always smiling

Located in Braga, Tea 4 Nine Guest House lunch is served in the apartments. This self-catering accommodation features free WiFi. Super clean apartment on the first floor with needed kitchen equipment for make a light meal. The apartment is all white, which makes it easy to see that the apartment is very clean. There are bathrobes and slippers for when one gets back “home”, and dishwasher for cleaning the dishes so one does not need to hand wash. The bed and pillows are on the firm side (perfect for me). There is a small convenience/supermarket just a few steps away, and a larger one (Pingo Doce) about 5 min walk away (I am a speed walker FYI). The bus terminal is 5 min away (Google map says 7 min). All the “tourist sites” are near the apartment. Train station is about a 10 min walk (Google map says 13-15 min). Can’t comment on parking as I didn’t drive, but I saw parking sign near the square where the apartment is located. Margarida provides breakfast for the entire stay, so please let her know if there is any dietary restriction. I didn’t as I didn’t expect it to be a “complete” continental breakfast (bread, prosciutto, cheese, milk, fruit juice, fruit, water, soda and even a bottle of vino verde!). I am gluten/sodium/sugar free due to health issues, so it isn’t easy for me when I travel, but for future visits I would definitely let Margarida know about my dietary restrictions. Overall I really enjoyed this stay and would definitely stay here again when I am back to Braga!

Located in a pedestrian street of Viana do Castelo city centre, Casa Manuel Espregueira e Oliveira is a renovated 19th-century townhouse with a 24-hour reception and an airport shuttle. breakfast was lovely - made special for you. beautiful fruit options, hot eggs, lovely cheese and pastries...and beautiful big pot of coffee

Featuring a 16th century manor house surrounded by lush gardens, Casa do Ameal is located 1 km from Viana do Castelo’s historic centre. It includes a swimming pool and free parking. We‘ve been already second time in this property and we love it. Joao and his team are very nice and helpful, the breakfast is great and varied. The rooms are cleaned every day. Just next to the property there is a supermarket which is very practical. We will surely come back again 😎👏

Rodrigo greeted us and made us feel so welcomed. The rooms were adorable and clean and an incredible value and in THE PERFECT charming location.

This newly renovated mansion is peacefully situated in the heart of Afife, and offers warmly decorated rooms with free Wi-Fi. Guests can enjoy regional cuisine and relax in the gardens with its pool. The Casa is a superb restored stone home with attractive rooms and amazing decor! The pool was very appreciated after a long, hot day on the Camino! The included breakfast was excellent and the experience was very positive.
