The Hotel da Oliveira is within the historical Guimarães city centre, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The Guimarães Castle, the city’s most iconic landmark is 150 metres away. The staff was really nice and accommodating. We have a young baby, and everybody was super helpful

Located in the Peneda-Gerês National Park, Lagoa Azul do Geres offers apartments and rooms overlooking Albufeira da Caniçada and the outdoor pool. I stayed for one night with a friend and had an amazing experience. The hotel is very well located, and the staff were incredibly helpful and attentive throughout our stay. Our room was spacious, spotless, and comfortable, with a bed that made it easy to relax. The view was absolutely breathtaking, truly unforgettable. We also enjoyed the pool and the breakfast, which, although simple, offered a good variety of options. One of the highlights was that the beach by the lagoon is just a 10-minute walk from the hotel, which made it even more convenient. Everything about our stay was perfect, and I genuinely couldn't recommend a better place to stay in Gerês.

Located in Braga, Tea 4 Nine Guest House lunch is served in the apartments. This self-catering accommodation features free WiFi. The apartment is great, very spatious, clean, and provided with all necessaries for a comfortable stay. I particularly enjoyed the small balcony, perfect for the morning coffee (apartment Camomile). It is central and very easy to reach from the bus station and close to all the main touristic objectives of the city center. A small supermarket is next door. Thank you also for the late check out! I would definitely stay there again!

Located within Guimarães city wall, in a manor house from the 18th century, Casa do Juncal combines history with modern comfort and elegance. Located in a pedestrian street of Viana do Castelo city centre, Casa Manuel Espregueira e Oliveira is a renovated 19th-century townhouse with a 24-hour reception and an airport shuttle. Breakfast was fabulous. Location, exceptional. Right in the middle of the town. Owner and her husband spoke little English but other employee was always accessable and very helpful. Much history to the home and the staff shared that with much pride. We took an UBER from Porto but then took the bus back to the Porto Airport. Very dooable. We loved the city of Viana do Castelo. Such a relaxing and more Portuguese place that Porto. Lots to see.

Featuring a 16th century manor house surrounded by lush gardens, Casa do Ameal is located 1 km from Viana do Castelo’s historic centre. It includes a swimming pool and free parking. Everything! João was a brilliant host and was incredibly helpful in the lead up to our trip, and whilst we were there. The rooms and whole of the property were lovely. Delicious breakfast every morning with fresh fruit and pastries. Very close to Viana do Castelo and literally next door to two supermarkets but the hotel felt like your own private oasis. The pool was lovely and refreshing. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

This newly renovated mansion is peacefully situated in the heart of Afife, and offers warmly decorated rooms with free Wi-Fi. Guests can enjoy regional cuisine and relax in the gardens with its pool. We were traveling on the Camino and stayed here for the night! The owners were so welcoming, kind, and generous! Our clothes were wet from the rain and they washed, dried, and folded our clothes! Beautiful guest house!
