The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The room was lovely with great attention to detail. The breakfast was the best we’ve ever had in a hotel. A fantastic stop along the Camino.

The Hotel da Oliveira is within the historical Guimarães city centre, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The Guimarães Castle, the city’s most iconic landmark is 150 metres away. - best place to have breakfast in Guimarães - in the heart of town - extremely friendly personal - the city is the essence of Portugal in my eyes. If you miss it, you missed a very important part of the country - recommendation to stay over night, to see city late night and early morning :)

Located in the Peneda-Gerês National Park, Lagoa Azul do Geres offers apartments and rooms overlooking Albufeira da Caniçada and the outdoor pool. We had the mountain view room. Wonderful to wake up and see the view from the balcony. Room was very spacious including a kitchen where we had our late-night dinner. So sorry we spent only one night there...

Situated in a 12th century Augustin Convent, the Pousada Mosteiro de Guimaraes overlooks Guimarães. Rooms are equipped with modern amenities including air conditioning and cable TV. Well served with great variety of fresh sweets, fruits, yogurts and breads available. Staff very friendly.

Located in Braga, Tea 4 Nine Guest House lunch is served in the apartments. This self-catering accommodation features free WiFi. The spot is very closer to the center of Braga, the apartment is super cleaner and it overcame my expectations. It was my first time in Portugal and there is no better place that I’d recommend besides this apartment. The hosting was super kind and left some food as a welcome way. Super nice!! Looking forward to be back in another opportunity =)

Located within Guimarães city wall, in a manor house from the 18th century, Casa do Juncal combines history with modern comfort and elegance. The hotel is located in Guimarães historical city centre. It is in a pedestrian area but you can come close by car to leave your luggage. It is right in the middle of the centre close to all attractions, monuments, bars and restaurants. There is a very convenient automatic check-in procedure which allows you to arrive at any time.

Located in a pedestrian street of Viana do Castelo city centre, Casa Manuel Espregueira e Oliveira is a renovated 19th-century townhouse with a 24-hour reception and an airport shuttle. Everything was excellent. Quiet tranquil. Great house.

This newly renovated mansion is peacefully situated in the heart of Afife, and offers warmly decorated rooms with free Wi-Fi. Guests can enjoy regional cuisine and relax in the gardens with its pool. Everything was great. Wonderful hosts, beautiful rooms and common areas, excellent breakfast for €10. Totally worth it! Muito obrigado!
