The Hotel da Oliveira is within the historical Guimarães city centre, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The Guimarães Castle, the city’s most iconic landmark is 150 metres away. The staff was really nice and accommodating. We have a young baby, and everybody was super helpful

Located in the Peneda-Gerês National Park, Lagoa Azul do Geres offers apartments and rooms overlooking Albufeira da Caniçada and the outdoor pool. I stayed for one night with a friend and had an amazing experience. The hotel is very well located, and the staff were incredibly helpful and attentive throughout our stay. Our room was spacious, spotless, and comfortable, with a bed that made it easy to relax. The view was absolutely breathtaking, truly unforgettable. We also enjoyed the pool and the breakfast, which, although simple, offered a good variety of options. One of the highlights was that the beach by the lagoon is just a 10-minute walk from the hotel, which made it even more convenient. Everything about our stay was perfect, and I genuinely couldn't recommend a better place to stay in Gerês.

Located in Braga, Tea 4 Nine Guest House lunch is served in the apartments. This self-catering accommodation features free WiFi. Amazing large apartment with all you need. A balcony, a seperate living room with a kitchen and a sleeping room with a huge shower. You have a private washing machine inside the apartment. The apartment is right in the center of town, very easy to get anywhere and 10 minutes walk to the central bus station. Very nice staff that met me at the entrance at check in. Cost effective compared to other properties in the same area.

Located in a pedestrian street of Viana do Castelo city centre, Casa Manuel Espregueira e Oliveira is a renovated 19th-century townhouse with a 24-hour reception and an airport shuttle. An historic home in Viana do Costelo where one can experience life living in a mansion with a huge dining room, Great Room, and rich and luxurious sleeping accommodations. The breakfast is wonderful and prepared to any specific requests. The host (Tiago) was extremely helpful with a tour of the historic home and recommendations for sights and dining in the area. The history of the Casa and Manuel Espregueira e Oliveira is well displayed in the reading room which is like a museum of the highest order, and the Casa has artwork and other features that made it seem like one is living the life of what is otherwise displayed in local museums. A wonderful and rich experience. A must do if possible.

Featuring a 16th century manor house surrounded by lush gardens, Casa do Ameal is located 1 km from Viana do Castelo’s historic centre. It includes a swimming pool and free parking. Everything! João was a brilliant host and was incredibly helpful in the lead up to our trip, and whilst we were there. The rooms and whole of the property were lovely. Delicious breakfast every morning with fresh fruit and pastries. Very close to Viana do Castelo and literally next door to two supermarkets but the hotel felt like your own private oasis. The pool was lovely and refreshing. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

This newly renovated mansion is peacefully situated in the heart of Afife, and offers warmly decorated rooms with free Wi-Fi. Guests can enjoy regional cuisine and relax in the gardens with its pool. We were traveling on the Camino and stayed here for the night! The owners were so welcoming, kind, and generous! Our clothes were wet from the rain and they washed, dried, and folded our clothes! Beautiful guest house!
