Located in a fully-renovated historical building, the Porto AS 1829 Hotel is located in the city’s historical centre. Noted Porto landmarks like the Clérigos Tower and São Bento Train Station are a 7-minute walk. We had the best stay in this hotel! The room was very clean, had everything we needed, the bed was comfortable, and the shower essentials were really nice. The location is just perfect, very close to all the sights. The staff of the hotel is truly amazing. So helpful, polite and nice! The receptionist gave us the best recommendations to visit the main attractions, and the waitress at the restaurant helped with the food alternatives. My girlfriend cannot eat gluten, so they provided gluten-free alternatives for her (even pastel de nata!), we highly appreciate it. ❤️ Would definitely come back and recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to visit Porto!

The property offers free access to its chocolate museum. The service and food were so good! The free pass to the museum was fun also! I enjoyed the good chocolate and the free cocktail! The room was very nice and the bed was soft!

It was not clear whether and how I would get back to my home country. Excelent location to visit the Porto old center with a lot of shops and restaurants nearby,the welcome Porto wine with special cheeses plateau ,the kindness of the hosts,the terrace of the appartement in the inner courtyard,the design of the apartement,the parkingspace in the building , the very comfortable bed .The price was very good for the conditions offered.We will recommend the accommodation to all friends who will travel to Porto!
