We stayed over New Year’s Eve, it was absolutely amazing. They view was great and the location perfect right in front of the river and plaza. We were able to see the fireworks from our window. We had the apartment on the fifth floor, which was the only apartment on that floor. The personnel were very friendly and helpful. We arrived a bit too early but we were able to store our luggages and they even brought them up to our room before we checked in. They guided us up and explained us the apartment, provided us complementary fruits and a bottle of sparkling wine which was very accommodating. The breakfast was small and okay, fresh fruits, cereals and we could choose between an omelette or a pancake. Overall we were very happy with our stay and can 100% recommend it!

Some have a balcony. Location: This hotel is perfectly situated for easy access to the city's main attractions, most within walking distance. There’s also a metro station just a minute away, making it incredibly convenient for getting around. A large grocery store is next door, and Bolhão Market is also very nearby. Overall, it’s one of the most accessible locations in the city, making it an ideal base for exploring. Amenities and Service: The host was very helpful with everything we needed and served a well-prepared breakfast with fresh groceries, which we were able to enjoy throughout our stay. The rooms are clean, spacious, and thoughtfully equipped, providing a comfortable environment. Additionally, there’s a lovely garden and a laundry room, with everything well-maintained in both the rooms and the building. Overall, it was a very convenient and pleasant experience.

The place is lovely with distinctive details which makes you feel homey and comfortable. Tiago and Soraya took very good care of us and are wonderful hosts. Thank you! We definetely will be back.

All the rooms are individually decorated with themes regarding historical Guimarães personalities. - best place to have breakfast in Guimarães - in the heart of town - extremely friendly personal - the city is the essence of Portugal in my eyes. If you miss it, you missed a very important part of the country - recommendation to stay over night, to see city late night and early morning :)

Casa dos Lóios by Shiadu offers classy accommodation, with modern touches, in the heart of Porto. The property is a 5-minute walk from the Porto city centre and a 3-minute drive away from the iconic D. Luís I Bridge. This was quite possibly the nicest place we’ve stayed. The bed. The room. The location. I wouldn’t have changed anything. The breakfast served each morning was better than anywhere else we’ve traveled.
