Set in a restored townhouse, Look At Me - Lofts&Studios is located in Porto, 150 metres from the central Avenida dos Aliados. It offers accommodation in studios and lofts with free WiFi access.

Each unit has an exclusive décor, with an open-plan living area with sofa bed, flat-screen cable TV and a dining table. All units include a Queen-size bed and are air conditioned. The studios have also a sofa bed and the Lofts have a mezzanine with 4 single beds. The bathrooms were all renovated in 2017 and each features free toiletries, a hairdryer and a shower. Some have a balcony. This is a beautifully renovated old building, just a few meters away from the metro station and the city center but yet far enough to be quiet. The room is very pretty, decorated with lovely colours and was cleaned every day. It's equipped with more than you'd think: for example, the brand new Nespresso coffee machine was nice to have, but finding an actual Dyson hairdryer was a real treat. The host, Tiago was very helpful and welcoming, provided me with a lot of tips and recommendations (and even helped with my luggage). Breakfast includes a huge variety of foodstuff, you'll surely find something to your liking - and actually it's a lot of food, I barely needed to buy any other groceries. The backyard is occasionally visited by cute neighbourhood cats.

The 10 comfortable rooms offer views to the street or to the city rooftops and each includes flat-screen cable TV, a seating area, a desk and a minibar. Each has a private bathroom featuring free toiletries, a shower and a hairdryer. I checked out of the hotel shortly before the power cut in Porto in April 2025. It was not clear whether and how I would get back to my home country. The hotel owner and other members of staff were extremely helpful and did all they could to accommodate for my needs and those of other guests. Many thanks, you made a big difference!

The modern Casas do Teatro has apartments and studios primely located near Porto’s city centre. The units are within a 5-minute walk from the São Bento Train Station, famous for its historically themed tiled panels. The location was excellent and was very easy to find. It is very near the attractions. We did ride buses to get to and from our destinations and everything is so accessible. The accommodation itself is very beautiful. The views at the back with the glass windows was very nice. The chairs and tables outside the apartments are a good addition. The apartment is very spacious, very clean, very comfortable. The A/C is so cold and working properly. There is a washing machine (although no dryer) but they provide a drying rack, and the lots of clothes-hangers and clothespins are an excellent addition as well. Lots of storage spaces available. The internet was fast. There is an elevator. I really enjoyed our stay here and will definitely recommend this place to anyone traveling Porto!

Casa dos Lóios by Shiadu offers classy accommodation, with modern touches, in the heart of Porto. The property is a 5-minute walk from the Porto city centre and a 3-minute drive away from the iconic D. Luís I Bridge. Superb little hotel, loved the design, the rooms were very comfortable and clean and the staff was amazing. They were all friendly and very helpful with sightseeing tips as well as any requests we had. The breakfast was also very tasty. They have free coffee and tea all day and a great chill area and inner garden. Oh, and despite the central location, our room was very quiet. I can fully recommend this hotel.

The building and all of its areas were fully refurbished in 2018. Each room features stylish décor with wooden parquet floors, white painted walls and large French-style doors which open out to views of the city. There is a seating area with a flat-screen cable TV and a private bathroom decorated with mosaic tiles and free toiletries. The room was very big, and perfect for four people. Set in a 19th-century building, Gallery Hostel offers a modern, recently renovated air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi. It has a 24-hour front desk a lounge area, a terrace and communal fully kitchen. Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport is 15 minutes’ drive away. Everything was perfect, more than I was expecting. The staff is really friendly, the breakfast with a lot of variety and good taste, the rooms where clean, and comfortable.

The chic, contemporary apartments at Serviced Apartments Boavista Palace lead onto balconies. In the living room, guests can enjoy some cable TV on the plasma TV. The staff at the reception were helpful and easy to communicate with. The apartment was clean and spacious. The kitchen was well equipped. The water pressure of the shower was perfect and the air conditioners were cool enough during the hot summer time. The serviced apartment's indoor carpark was spacious and the cost was not high. Although the door lock did not work when we checked in, it was fixed rather quickly. The management sent us some complimentary F&B items to express their apology. It was appreciated.

The PortoBay Hotel Teatro is a 4-star hotel in Porto belonging to the PortoBay Group. After being

fully refurbished in the first half of 2021, it is now reopening its doors with a fresher, brighter and fullyrejuvenated image. The hotel is located in a very central area, all sights can be reached by walking (please always keep in mind that Porto is not a flat city). The staff was extremely helpful and the breakfast was excellent with great choices. Our room was very comfortable, clean, and equipped with many facilities. If I come to Porto again, I will definitely book this hotel.

Set in a castle among landscaped gardens, Castelo Santa Catarina offers accommodation in central Porto and a breakfast featuring traditional Portuguese dishes. Marques Metro Station is 100 metres away. Everything was beyond expectations - the staff were very helpful with great sense of humors. Room very comfortable and clean. Great location for sightseeing!
