O Santa Bárbara Eco-Beach Resort está localizado na Ribeira Grande, na costa Norte da Ilha de São Miguel. Oh, I am in love with this place: the room, surrounding area, service, food - all were perfect. We stayed in the room with the pool. It was cold to swim, obviously, but nice to look at. The view on the ocean and mountains is breathtaking. Sunrise paints your room in different colors, tiny birds play and sing on the grass in front of the house every morning. Perfect. And they prepared special tea ritual every evening for us.

One of the best hotels we’ve been to, recently: - Helpful, welcoming and smiling staff, with several little attentions during our stay - Excellent breakfast and the evening restaurant is good too. You have to try their “Ofyr” experience, it’s an amazing barbecue menu. - Comfortable room with very silent AC - Very good location - Amazing 24/7 spa experience

Situado no coração de Ponta Delgada, este hotel dispõe de um terraço no último piso com vistas panorâmicas para o Oceano Atlântico, para as montanhas e para a cidade. A marina encontra-se a 500... O hotel é bem localizado, tem elevador, ar condicionado e estacionamento gratuito, o que é um grande benefício para quem vai conhecer a ilha. É próximo ao centro histórico, dá para ir caminhando. Funcionários muito atenciosos e prestativos que dão importantes dicas sobre os lugares , agradecimentos especiais para Teresa e Emília. Passei meu aniversário lá e ganhei um mimo de presente. Café da manhã bom e farto.

O MS Vila Nova beneficia de uma localização central em Ponta Delgada, a 1 km do Convento da Esperança. O hotel disponibiliza uma piscina exterior. The location was perfect, in walking distance from the airport, which can be felt througout the stay as you could frequently see airplanes landing or taking off but due to the soundproof windows this is not as bothersome (it was kind of cool actually). The swimming pool was nice! (we also had one plane fly directly above us as we swam) - there are like 10 flights a day and only during the day, being a city airport, there are no flights during the night - so you don't have to fear that a plane will wake you up mid-night. The swimming pool was rarely occupied (we were staying mid-may) the initial dip was a bit cold but it got better fast enough. The staff was super nice, especially the bartender we met on our arrival. The room was nice and clean, with water and capsule coffee being refreshed daily (a regular and a decaf per person per day), the breakfast buffet had a wide enough selection so we could mix up our breakfast across our stay (and always it was nice). All in all a perfect stay, I can definitely recommend this hotel. 😊 PS: the maracuja Kima is a must try! (available at the bar)

O Pico do Refúgio - Casas de Campo combina um cenário natural com história, arte e vista para o mar. We had an incredible stay at Pico do Refúgio, enjoying the unique experience of being the only guests for the week in this charming former tea factory. The location, atmosphere, fireplace, and cozy interior truly made our trip special. It was such a pleasure to return after a busy day to a place that felt like home. Ana was a fantastic host, and the service was exceptional. The breakfasts were varied and delicious, and after a couple of delayed flights, we were warmly welcomed with appetizers upon arrival. We especially appreciated the privacy and peacefulness of the place, as well as the stunning surroundings, including Santa Bárbara Beach and Lagoa do Fogo. Simply amazing!

O colorido Vintage Place - Azorean Guest House está localizado na Ilha de São Miguel, a cerca de 5 minutos a pé do centro histórico de Ponta Delgada. Acomodações muito boas, limpeza, localização e atendimento. Café da manhã bom, várias opções, muito limpo e organizado e o preço acessível. Voltarei mais vezes.

O Azorean Urban Lodge é um edifício renovado, com 100 anos de idade, que apresenta um terraço mágico com mesas de refeições e uma piscina exterior. Está disponível acesso Wi-Fi gratuito. This place was perfect to stay the first few nights in Sao Miguel. It had everything you need- comfy bed, separate bathroom and a equipped kitchen. I stayed in a single room the first night and then my friends and I shared a room with three single beds and attached bathroom. Parking can be tricky- the streets are narrow but we did not have any problems finding spots near the lodge. Also, you will hear planes overhead- this is close to the airport so it makes it convenient in that way but if you don't want that noise, you will want to stay farther away from the airport.
