Santa Bárbara Eco-Beach Resort is located in Ribeira Grande, north coast of São Miguel Island. Oh, I am in love with this place: the room, surrounding area, service, food - all were perfect. We stayed in the room with the pool. It was cold to swim, obviously, but nice to look at. The view on the ocean and mountains is breathtaking. Sunrise paints your room in different colors, tiny birds play and sing on the grass in front of the house every morning. Perfect. And they prepared special tea ritual every evening for us.

Absolutely amazing and lovely days in this beautiful place! Thank a lot for the team hospitality and friendly atmosphere. Breakfast was good. Rooms are super clean and well equipped. Definitely will stay again!

MS Vila Nova is centrally located in Ponta Delgada, 1 km from the Convento da Esperança. The hotel features an outdoor pool. My Story Hotel Vila Nova’s guest rooms are decorated in blue and grey... We loved the little touch with a note and the pastries very nice!

VIP Executive Azores features a restaurant with panoramic ocean views. The hotel is less than 1 km from Ponta Delgada Marina. luxury hotel, 3 beds very comfortable, all clean, extra room in apartment, balcony, excelent bathroom. Good pizza and salad in the hotel bar.

The Azorean Urban Lodge is a refurbished one-hundred-year-old building featuring a magical terrace with dining tables and an outdoor pool. Free WiFi access is available. This place was perfect to stay the first few nights in Sao Miguel. It had everything you need- comfy bed, separate bathroom and a equipped kitchen. I stayed in a single room the first night and then my friends and I shared a room with three single beds and attached bathroom. Parking can be tricky- the streets are narrow but we did not have any problems finding spots near the lodge. Also, you will hear planes overhead- this is close to the airport so it makes it convenient in that way but if you don't want that noise, you will want to stay farther away from the airport.

Pico do Refúgio - Casas de Campo combines a natural setting with history, art, and sea views. Wow, what a special place Pico do Refugio is. First of all, the property is absolutely gorgeous. Anna welcomed our family and was full of recommendations and explained the history behind the Refugio. The location was excellent, out of the busy Ponta Delgada, but still close enough to easily explore all around Sao Miguel. The loft we stayed in was spacious, airy, and comfortable. Each morning, the breakfasts delivered was amazing and filling. Even though the houses were all full, it was very quiet and peaceful. The common area had great coffee and treats and interesting art and products from local artists. We didn't want to leave.

The colourful Vintage Place - Azorean Guest House is located in S. Miguel Island, within a 5-minute walk from the historical Ponta Delgada centre. A huge surprise to find a stay even better than hoped all was perfect and staff amazing. Raul the manager was so great. We will stay again. Thanks
