Charming vineyard with beautiful scenery by Douro-river. Very attentive and friendly staff and two amazing dogs. Be sure to include port tasting - it was fantastic to walk the wine fields, see the winery and hear about the production. We will definitely be back sometime!

Offering an outdoor pool surrounded by vineyards and a lush garden area, Casa da Azenha is located in Lamego. Free WiFi access is available in this farm stay. I cannot say enough positive things about our stay at Casa da Azenha!!  The very first thing about this property is the staff. It is like staying at a family home. Maria made sure even before we arrived that we had dinner reservations, and she arranged a wine tour with us that was by far the best part of our trip. She was checking up on us the whole time to ensure that our stay was everything we needed. The other staff at the home is also very helpful with things such as laundry, the breakfast in the morning was perfect and made it easy to start our day, without having to look elsewhere to eat. Everyone here is extremely caring and is there because they love their job. As for the facilities. The property is so serene and is surrounded by fruit trees, lavender, beautiful flowers everywhere you look. The pool was clean and everything you needed for a quick swim to cool off. There are also lawn chairs For sunbathing. The rooms were historic yet, clean, spacious, and comfortable bedding. The bathroom is also clean and spacious. There is a small kitchenette if needed. Again, very cozy facilities that made you feel right at home. Even though there were other guests at the villa the apartments are separated enough, and we never felt like we were being bothered or too close for comfort! if you are looking to book look no further, as this is an amazing property with staff that care!

Everything was perfect and we really liked our stay at Casa do Romezal. The location was gorgeous and the staff were really helpful. We can really recommend a stay here.

Quinta do Tedo is an award-winning agrotourism that provides accommodation with breakfast included. I loved the location. There are hiking trails where you can do bird watching and go thru the wine yards. There are facilities for kayaking too, everything included (paddles, kayaks, and lifesavers). The stay includes a tour of the process and degustation of wine.

The **Quinta de Fiães** is a charming farm house located in the heart of the Douro Valley, just 1 km from the village of Vilar de Maçada. We really enjoyed our stay here! Beautiful house and pool with amazing views and really nice food and staff - Bruno is the best. We were also very impressed by the beauty of the Duoro area and its wines. We will be back.

Hotel Muchacho is a design hotel with a bright, purple exterior and rooms with balconies and private bathrooms. Situated in the centre of Macedo de Cavaleiros, it provides free private parking. The hotel exceeded our expectations. We had requested a room with two beds but changed to one bed and the room was large, very comfortable and with a balcony. Breakfast was ample with many delicious homemade products. The friendliness and helpfulness of everyone at this family run establishment cannot be overstated. We hope to return.
