Overlooking the scenic Douro River Valley, Quinta da Casa Cimeira, Guest House, Wines & Food is set in a historic country house and surrounded by a garden and vineyards. The hotel is in a beautiful location and the rooms are spacious. The best thing is the friendly staff and the shared dinners with other hotel guests. Excellent food and company! I highly recommend this place.

Beautiful property and pleasant, helpful team. The location was perfect for us but we’re fit and the steep climb up from the town wasn’t a problem although it would be for some guests.

We had a wonderful time there. Cesar, Andre and Hannah are lovely people and made our stay unbelievably wonderful. The breakfast was perfect with the best view and traditional fresh food. We made a wine tasting and a tour through the winery, it was awesome. You can park in front of the Quinta.

There are hiking trails where you can do bird watching and go thru the wine yards. There are facilities for kayaking too, everything included (paddles, kayaks, and lifesavers). The stay includes a tour of the process and degustation of wine.

Our room was very nice with an incredible view of the Douro river. The amenities were very nice. Breakfast was incredible. The entire staff went out of their way to make our stay perfect.
