Located in the city centre, next to the restaurants and commercial area, Villa Floreal Hotel Boutique features an outdoor swimming pool, meeting facilities and BBQ facilities in Asuncion. Location is unbeatable - in a great (and safe) part of town, yet very quiet, with several good pizza places and cafe/restaurants within 5 minutes walk. Having the pool (literally) outside your door is obviously fantastic! Breakfast included a very wide selection: omelette or scrambled eggs, and the usual selection of toast, ham, cheese, fresh fruit cocktail, croissants and other cakes, and water, juice, tea and coffee. Our room, No. 4, was very large (King bed), comfortable with a great shower, and also had a small kitchenette with a microwave and a mini-bar stocked with beer and water. Although we didn't use them, the hotel had a small bar, a small gym and two beautiful sittings rooms, full of art and the owners antiques and memorabilia, obviously collected over many years.

Featuring a garden with a swimming pool, a fitness centre and a restaurant, Hotel Villa Morra Suites offers rooms with free Wi-Fi and cable TV in central Asuncion. Breakfast is provided. The service was above and beyond. For example, I called room service, but got no answer. So, I called the front desk to see what was up and within 2 minutes there was a knock on my door. The front desk clerk and the maitre d both showed up and took my order personally. Now that is the definition of service.

Starting my day with a fantastic breakfast with many options, followed by my gym routine, was a dream. For lunch, the restaurant La Preferida was very convenient, safe, and had a fair price, but the best thing about everything was the pool area. It is a paradise; I think it helps a lot when there is so much stress and you want quiet time. Beautiful! The staff was very professional, approachable, and caring; they could accommodate some of my requests right away. Also, you can't get a better location; everything is close and an Uber ride away.
