Located in Alba Iulia, Vila Preciosa offers a restaurant, a bar and free WiFi access in all areas. Free public parking is possible on site. Location close to the Citadel, amazing breakfast with a variety of choices. The room had an incredible perfume and was very clean. The staff was friendly and we even tried the restaurant, the pizza was really nice and this is said from Italians :D

Situated in the historic centre of Alba Iulia, La Maison de Caroline is housed in a 19th century building. The Citadel of Alba Carolina is 600 metres away, while the Train Station is 1.8 km away. Was excited when get into hotel. It was better than photos. very good staff, best place to stay for more than couple days. Quality restaurant. Everything was just amazing.

Situated in a residential area, Pensiunea Marylou offers spacious rooms with free WiFi, just 1.2 km away from Alba Iulia’s historic area and the Roman Catholic Cathedral. Fabulous accommodation. It is rare to find such spacious guest rooms and bathrooms. We booked 2 rooms with twin beds and both rooms were beautiful. We really appreciated that we were given rooms very close to each other (opposite rooms on the ground floor) so my parents didn't need to walk the stairs. Everything was clean and comfortable, I think the pictures look good on the website but the rooms are even better in person. There is ample of space for bags, clothes and everything else. I loved the fact that there were slippers and a long shoehorn to help putting on shoes. Extra points for the working air-con which is needed in the hot summer. We turned it off during the night and just opened the window for cool air. WE had a good sleep and were not bothered by dog barks. I don't think they bark a lot, certainly not more than in any other place I have stayed or lived. Breakfast was good, enough variety to choose from and we enjoyed it. Eggs were freshly cooked. The salami was particularly tasty. There is a Lidl round the corner to stock up on water or whatever else you may need. Location is good too, not in the exact centre that might be busy or noisy but close enough. We walked there fairly quickly (just walk to the first big road then turn left and another block or 2 you reach the old fort walls and the centre is there).
