Surrounded by the Zavoi Park, 300 metres from the centre of Ramnicu Valcea, Grand Hotel Sofianu hosts an art museum with works of 500 representative Romanian plastic artists. The location is excellent! It´s close to the city center and next to a gorgeous park that we enjoyed exploring every day. The breakfast was delicious, the rooms were big and the staff was extremely kind and helpful - especially Alexandra from Reception :) Springtime is especially beautiful there

Ramnicu Valcea’s boutique Simfonia Boutique Hotel is located 500 metres from the centre of town and offers a fitness room, spa area, sauna and steam bath. This hotel exceeds the expectations very much.. The rooms were so clean that I was sure is a new hotel. But is 12 years old. The restaurant on the terrace give you a view on Karpati mountain.. The food in the restaurant was the best we have eaten in Romunia!
