Dating back to 1852, this elegant hotel is 5 minutes’ walk from Gothenburg Central Station. It offers a peaceful inner courtyard, free WiFi and free coffee/tea and homemade cakes each afternoon. The location was perfect for catching trains and trams, walking around, and going to good restaurants. The staff was super helpful, and the computer in the lobby was a great resource in booking fun excursions. The lack of a hot water kettle in the room is mitigated by free tea and coffee in the comfortable lobby.
