Situated among 18th and 19th century villas in a park setting, this charming hotel is 3 minutes’ walk from Kalmar Castle. Free WiFi is available. The hotel is charming. Decorated so cute, but also was clean with helpful staff. Adorable restaurant on site. Bikes you can use to ride around the pretty downtown. Walking distance to the castle and beach.

Housed in an old harbour warehouse, the Home Hotel Packhuset boasts spectacular views of the Kalmar Sound and the Öland Bridge. Some rooms feature exposed wooden beams, timber walls and free WiFi. This was such an unexpectedly pleasant stay! Location is good, it's a walkable and convenient distance from Kalmar C station and Kalmar Castle. The common spaces feel cosy and the rooms are really decently-sized and comfortable. It is cool that they refurbished this hotel from an old warehouse. There were also free coffee and tea (of a good variety!) for guests. We had both breakfast and dinner included in our package, which is a bit unusual for a hotel, but the dinner served was delicious, and I don't think we would have a more enjoyable meal outside anyway. Staff were really friendly too. Fantastic accommodation, it's such a pity we only stayed one night!

Located next to Bunn Lake in Gränna, 10 km from Grenna Museum, Bauergården features a common terrace where you can enjoy views of the garden. A communal sauna offers relaxation. Best pizza we've ever had. Love the region, trail running and then swimming in the lake and having a sauna makes this the best stopover on our way north or south. Great breakfast, nice rooms and cosy atmosphere too, and wonderful staff, of course. I know we'll keep coming back!

Hotell Hamnen is in Färjestaden and features scenic views over the Kalmarsund Strait from all rooms. Rooms here will provide you with a flat-screen TV, balcony and sea views. Location was fantastic! Happy that was possible to stay with dog.

Featuring a gym with lake views, Vox Hotel is 600 metres from Jönköping Central Station and 3.5 km from Elmia Exhibition Centre. It offers rooms with modern décor, a rain shower and a flat-screen TV. Room was nice and big, breakfast was delicious and the staff were very helpful.

Workers in reception were quite helpfull, when ever we asked for about anything they answered patiently and happyly. Even when it is about any other subject they immediately searched for help and directed us. Breakfast was good enough for different choices such as vegan etc. Lounge servers were helpfull as well, İt was a great stay with home feelings. Thank you for everything.
