Newly opened in April 2009 after extensive renovations, this 4-star hotel, first opened in 1906, is only 200 metres from Lake Bled and in the immediate vicinity of the train station. The gem, diamond of my whole travel along Slovenia! 10 of 10! Location, inner energy, restaurant - everything is perfect. As out of season I got a free of charge 2-person room instead of 1-person. With a amazing view on the lake. If it is possible - please take a room with a view. Staff very friendly and gentle. I travel a lot , Once again - one of the best impressions ever!

Set in a 19th-century villa, Penzion Vila Prešeren is located directly on the shores of scenic Lake Bled, below the castle in the centre of Bled. It offers free Wi-Fi. We have been to Lake Bled countless times but Vila Prešeren is absolutely the right choice since everything is splendid!!!

Staff was very friendly and willing to help or advise on what to do in the region. Spacious and clean room. Fresh breakfast, made with love :-)

Cleanliness was spot on. Very spacious. Family-run business. The owners were always available if we needed any help or had questions. Very friendly!

Fantastic location, short walk to the lake. Marion was lovely and gave us great recommendations of things to do. Apartment is huge. Comfy bed, good kitchen facilities. Air conditioning worked really well.
