Our stay was more on the spontaneous side. Because it was the off-season we almost had the hotel to ourselves. The staff was really helpful and amiable even though we didn't really look like the usually 4 star hotel guests with our backpacks and dirty hiking boots. They tried there best to make a really great vegan breakfast. I'm pretty sure they would be best prepared (with plan based yogurt or some other alternatives) if we said in advance we would like to have a vegan breakfast. They really care for their guests. Sauna also was great! Would come again!

The room is spacious and romantic, and the view of our terrace was truly stunning, even though it was rainy. We could enjoy the breakfast in our room with a nice view of the lake too. We also did the pop up dinner which was great. All the staff are helpful and friendly. Location is convenient.

Beutiful over 100 years old house with some history and art inside. All the time we had cosy and homey feeling. Great beds and surrounding area. Also they were fine with our two dogs and there wasn't any problem. Moreover more than welcoming and super helpful host family and great breakfast made by then. Really exceptional and rare stay.

The apartment was furnished to a high standard and was very comfortable. Our host was super responsive and helped us with some excellent recommendations on local activities. The games barn is a triumph - a really brilliant conversion and proved a great hit with our family and everyone else that was staying there. We loved all the handmade furniture and innovative design. Lovely big garden was good too and you can easily hike/run/cycle straight from the door.
