Set in the heart of Old Town in Piran, Guest House PachaMama offers modern-style accommodation fitted with air conditioning and free Wi-Fi. We had a great stay! The location was excellent, the room was extremely clean and had everything we needed (incl. a hairdryer and straightener), and the staff was super friendly. We also enjoyed the little touches like delicious smelling soap and towels (thick fluffy ones).

Nestled along the pristine Portorož promenade, Hotel Slovenija epitomizes 5-star luxury with breathtaking views of the Adriatic blue waters. An absolutely fabulous place! We had a very nice room with harbor view, the food in their Tapas bar was great, the wine and esp. the champagne simply awesome! A very beautiful beach, free to the hotel guests, is right across the street. There are also many very good restaurants in the neighborhood. I can highly recommend La Mar!

Situated on a hill above Portorož and surrounded by Mediterranean flora, Hotel Tomi offers an exceptional view of the bay and sea-orientated rooms with a balcony. The hotel is altogether very nice, a 5 min (downhill) walk to the beach, great views over the sea. The rooms are nice, the swimming pool is great. Nice breakfast, nice and helpful staff - highly recommended!

The Vila Piranesi Apartments occupies a historic building between the sea shore and the old town centre of Piran in Slovenian Istria, offering modernly furnished apartments with air-conditioning and... The location was perfect right by the harbour. We weren't disturbed by any noise at night. The parking arrangements are just superb and the instructions you are given by Vila P work perfectly. The little free bus does indeed run every 8-10 minutes and drops you at Piazza Tartine just 100 metres from the entrance to the apartment. Perfect! Well done Piran you have a very slick operation with the need to park outside the town. The apartment was very comfortable for the two days we were there and the guy who checked us in was so helpful and informative. We have always found Slovenian people to be so hospitable and friendly. We followed his instructions and had a wonderful and very long coastal walk. Piran is perfect for a long weekend and with the sea air, magnificent seafood and plenty of food options we will return one day.

In general, we really liked everything about the hotel and staff. Excellent location (not close to the noise of the bars) but very close to the beach. The garden of the hotel was charming. We enjoyed our breakfast (rich offer of variety of foods), our lunches and dinners on the terrace. The chef is truly excellent. We also liked the size of our room. All in all, I recommend the hotel.
