I’ve stayed in a lot of the hotels in the area over the last 10 years (due to work) and this hotel by far is the best. The reason I really like this hotel is because the management & staff are extremely friendly & helpful and you are always met with a smile. The facilities are kept so clean, and they recently refurbished a number of the rooms that I stayed in during my last visit. To top this all off, there is an amazing wellness centre located underneath the hotel that allows you to unwind in the evenings and a fantastic Hungarian restaurant bolted onto the same property, you couldn’t wish for more, a dream for the weary business traveller. In realtion to the breakfast, it's mainly a continental breakfast with a large range of meats/cheeses/cereal. The self-serve hot breakfast normally has 3 options, eggs, bacon or European sausage (spicy) and beans. Toast is available along with a automated coffee machine. There is always two lovely staff to assist if you need help, additional items, etc...

One of the most beautiful hotels in Slovakia. It was great stay with delicious food, perfect service and amazing breakfast. Room was very nice, modern, and the biggest bonus was terrace with view on Nitra castle, city and even calvary. Wellness is limited for 2 hours with limited amount of people (we were almost alone) and totally new. Highly recommended.

The friendliness of the receptionist - we had great, long chats. Breakfasts were good. Stunning view from breakfast room. Comfortable bed. Good shower - easy to use - for once!

Nice and clean rooms, right in the city center, continental breakfast from 7am with plenty of choice (various cheese, ham, eggs, sausages, yoghurt, muesli, cakes, croissants, fruit and veggies, juice, bread and toaster to use) It was quiet despite the location. Parking in the backyard.

It was my second time in this hotel, its in good location, the people at the hotel are always super nice and helpfull, have space for bicycles, rooms are clean and the airconditioning was a great plus during our summer visit.

This hotel is just amazing, everyone was so nice, I loved having my morning coffee at the hotel lobby, what a perfect start of the day. it's 1minute walk from the Danube river and just across the bridge to Hungary. What a perfect location! I was curious about the hotel name and fun fact it means the Hell, so if you want to have a good story to tell to your friends it's a must visit haha!

We had a wonderful experience from start to finish. We were greeted so warmly, and all the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel's location is perfect, within walking distance to everything, which made exploring the area very easy. We were also lucky enough to be there during the Campana festival, which added an extra layer of fun and excitement to our trip.

Hotel River is located directly on the bank of Nitra River, 10 minutes on foot from Agrokomplex International Exhibition Center and in close proximity to SPU and CPU universities.
