It takes 10 minutes to drive to Kanchanaburi city centre. Bangkok is 3 hours’ drive away. the room was very spacious and comfortable overlooking the gardens and pools. The restaurant is right by the river edge and it is very relaxing even just to sit there especially at sunset.

They give great advice on where to go and give you a lift each time you need to go to the bus or train station. Rooms are basic but a good size and a fridge with water you get each day. The location is perfect with a lovely garden and you're right next to a local market if you fancy a Thai breakfast. Easy bike ride into town to the night markets and main strip, imo if you come to kanchanaburi this is the area you want to stay in. You can hire bikes to get into town only 40 baht and can hire a motorbike if you want to travel further away.
