An island getaway awaits at Ao Cho Grand View Resort in Ko Samed, a 2-hour 30-minute drive from Bangkok. Surrounded by sand and sea, it offers free Wi-Fi throughout the property. The beach was quiet and lovely and the property felt safe and welcoming. The location felt authentic and all the staff were very friendly, attentive and kind. I felt like I was part of a nice community. The breakfast was very very good and the food at the hotel restaurant was incredible. Best curries and som tam I've had in Thailand hands down!!! There are some stray animals walking around the beach area (dogs and kittens) so if you don't like animals you might not like that.

Sai Kaew Beach Resort sits on the adjacent Pineapple and Sai Kaew beaches on Koh Samet. It offers 3 outdoor pools, 2 beachfront restaurants and a variety of water sports. Great hotel and great location. Also nice beach bar. Had a wonderfull stay.

Boasting an outdoor pool and a lively pool bar, Stellars Samed Resort is set amidst tropical landscapes in Ko Samed. It is about 10 minutes walk from Haad Sai Kaew and 20 minutes from Silver Sand Pub.... The hotel swimming pool is great and open until early evening to cool off after a day at the beach. All of the staff are very friendly and always willing to help. Sandy is a very helpful staff member who was willing to help with anything we needed and speaks great English. We thought we had left behind a purse and Sandy was really great in searching the room and hotel for us and recontacting to confirm. The breakfast varies each day and is really nice. Lots of fresh coffee pots too. The location is good. It’s a 5 min walk off the Main Street with bars and restaurants plus 7/11. It’s about 10 mins to Sai Kaew beach where there are plenty of beach bars, beds, restaurants etc.
