The beach was quiet and lovely and the property felt safe and welcoming. The location felt authentic and all the staff were very friendly, attentive and kind. I felt like I was part of a nice community. The breakfast was very very good and the food at the hotel restaurant was incredible. Best curries and som tam I've had in Thailand hands down!!! There are some stray animals walking around the beach area (dogs and kittens) so if you don't like animals you might not like that.

Sai Kaew Beach Resort sits on the adjacent Pineapple and Sai Kaew beaches on Koh Samet. It offers 3 outdoor pools, 2 beachfront restaurants and a variety of water sports. Extremely clean, trained staff, family friendly resort, for me the only one on Samed. beach Club, great food variety, breakfast offers for each culture their food, chinese, thai, western, egg station. You can sit inside or outdoors in the shadow.

Boasting an outdoor pool and a lively pool bar, Stellars Samed Resort is set amidst tropical landscapes in Ko Samed. It is about 10 minutes walk from Haad Sai Kaew and 20 minutes from Silver Sand Pub.... The staff was amazing and friendly. Genuinely liked their job. Also, it’s family owned and very authentic hospitality. The location was nice too. It was within 5 minutes walking to beach and close to downtown area. The breakfast was very good and typical Thai traditional.
