Surrounded in a private natural tropical garden, The Mangrove Phuket by Blu Monkey is in front of the sea with a view of Chalong Bay. Amazing quiet place. The staff is very friendly and the restaurant has some great food options. Even though it is a bit far away from everything, there is a daily free shuttle bus from the hotel to the nearest 7-11 and back so you can stock up on supplies. On the weekends there is also a free shuttle that will take you to Phuket Old Town in the afternoon. Free kayaks,paddleboard, peaceful water setting, and you could feel really connected to nature with all the birds and well maintained green areas. We loved our honeymoon there!

Just 300 metres away from Nai Yang Beach, Sea Pines & Liberg is surrounded by tropical greenery in a quiet corner of Phuket. It offers an outdoor pool and free WiFi. This small hotel was a hidden gem and the owners were lovely. Once entering through a small wooden door it opened up to a welcoming site of beautiful plants and flowers, a tranquil setting. I was travelling from Phang Nga and arrived earlier than the check in time. I had asked in advance if they had a room I could store my bag until the room was available for check in ,which they said they could. When I arrived I found they had upgraded me to a to a villa by the pool so that I could check in straightaway. Generous, warm and wonderful staff! The pool was large and surrounded by lush vegetation. The photos of this hotel are exactly what you can expect. My room was spacious and clean. A large shower room and separate toilet. Large bed and lots of space. Coffee making facilities, A/C , wifi, refrigerator and a TV. There were outlets for plugs. It was like a hidden sanctuary and I loved my stay there. The location is perfect to be able to walk to the beach, there are lots of cafes and beach restaurants to have something to eat. A great location and although Nai Yang itself was getting busier when I stayed, this hotel was quiet and peaceful. There is an amazing temple in this area that is worth a visit if you have more than one day here. I had read the reviews and saw that people that had stayed one night before their trip home had wished they had stayed for longer. It is a perfect place if you need somewhere close to the airport and I read those reviews and decided to book a longer stay (4 nights) before I caught my international flight home and I am so glad I did. (Thank you to those other reviews!) If you are looking at this hotel don't hesitate and make the reservation - you will not regret it. Pojjana, thank you so much for making my stay so wonderful.
