I absolutely loved everything about this hotel. The rooms are very spacious, the bed is SUPER comfortable, everything is clean and the staff is so amazing and attentive. They even called my bus transfer so they would pick me up right at the hotel (saved me quite some time). The options at the breakfast buffet are very broad and I could find something amazing every single day. The pool is very clean and the location is superb. Right in front of the hotel (on the beach side) are many rocks, but you just walk 30 meters to the right and you will find a wonderful beach.

Resort located along Klong Plu River at Klong Praow Beach in Ko Chang, this resort offers contemporary accommodation with views of the river, pool, garden or mountains. Villa was lovely, the pools were clean and not busy, and the boat shuttle to the beach was convenient. Even when we missed the last boat, it was a quick and easy walk back to the resort. The cold jacuzzi for our villa was a great hideaway from the sun. Breakfast was a great variety and very tasty. Loved the lemongrass juice and ginger tea in the mornings

The Du Talay is a small family run hotel with 21 cosy rooms under Thai/German management. 4 years ago it was fully renovated. The rooms are very well equiped. We had a great time here, the ladies at the reception desk are very kind and helpful especially the young lady called Kip, she is the sweetest receptionist ever. :)

The bed was amazing comfortable and the food in the restaurant was tasty. Staff were very helpful, you can rent scooters, or the desk will happily call you a taxi. the beach was cool and maybe not a great swimming beach but with water shoes I had no problem. I liked the quiet location a bit away from the main drag. The poll was huge and there were plenty of loungers and towels. The board walk was fine, some folks commented on the condition in other posts. But they were actively replacing weak boards and installing new lighting when I was there. I was in a third-row unit and I felt like it offered great views. especially for the price!! It's Thai style for sure but I just loved it there. I would absolutely return.
