The Du Talay is a small family run hotel with 21 cosy rooms under Thai/German management. 4 years ago it was fully renovated. The rooms are very well equiped. We had a great time here, the ladies at the reception desk are very kind and helpful especially the young lady called Kip, she is the sweetest receptionist ever. :)

The cottages and the entire property are solidly built, with beautiful wooden furniture inside. The air conditioning works very well. It’s very close to the beach, which has bars, massage services, and sun loungers. At the same time, the noise does not reach the property. Very good localisation close to the beach with a taxi stop nearby and scooters.

The bed was amazing comfortable and the food in the restaurant was tasty. Staff were very helpful, you can rent scooters, or the desk will happily call you a taxi. the beach was cool and maybe not a great swimming beach but with water shoes I had no problem. I liked the quiet location a bit away from the main drag. The poll was huge and there were plenty of loungers and towels. The board walk was fine, some folks commented on the condition in other posts. But they were actively replacing weak boards and installing new lighting when I was there. I was in a third-row unit and I felt like it offered great views. especially for the price!! It's Thai style for sure but I just loved it there. I would absolutely return.
