The Oystercatchers Haven at Paternoster is situated right on the beach and just 2 minutes' drive from the village centre of Paternoster. It offers a plunge pool and en-suite rooms with sea views. Oystercatchers was an amazing place to stay. It felt like stepping back in time to a Professors study. Although the furniture was antique style it wasn't dusty and old. The room was comfortable, the bed was comfortable. There were dressing gowns. The shower was powerful and hot with a view out to sea. There was a heater if we needed. The guest house was directly above the beach and there was a short path to the beach. The views when you woke up in the morning, or watching the sunset were amazing. The breakfast was tasty and generous and the staff and Ansu were very helpful. There were restaurants within walking distance. Although we did not walk after dark. We had a wonderful stay and wished we had booked longer.

The ah! Guest House is situated in the fisherman’s village of Paternoster, 6 km from Cape Columbine Lighthouse. It features air-conditioned rooms with and free WiFi in the rooms and public areas. Lovely location with a view of the ocean, but the real star was the breakfast.

Located in the heart of Paternoster and overlooking the tranquil bay, nearby restaurants and the local waterfront. Great views of the ocean from the house. Beach was about 100m away and also very close to the Paternoster Waterfront. They provide a nespresso machine , all other equipment's looks new , the house was extremely clean. Love the bathroom with his and hers sink, and a huge shower. Very good wifi signal. The bed and pillows were perfect. Super friendly staff.

Boasting fabulous views of the Atlantic Ocean, perfect for watching Southern Right Whales, this deluxe 4-star lodge is nestled in the dunes of Shelley Point. Everything was great as as others have said. But I want to point out to potential future guests how perfectly orientated this property is. Because it faces north it gets the best of the sun during the day without blinding sunsets, so you really can enjoy the view all day long. Plus it is well protected from the infamous Cape southeaster wind. The proximity of a rocky outcrop provides the added visual interest of waves breaking and birds gathering. There is direct access to the lovely shoreline path with its local flora (some with nicely annotated name tags) and birdlife. Apart from the marine animals (seals, dolphins) and birds (including the distinctive African Black Oystercatcher, of course) we were delighted by an apparently semi-resident tortoise and visits by guinea fowl and a steenbok.

Paternoster Place offers self-catering accommodation in a quiet private road and just 3 minutes' walk from the beach. Centrally located, the property is within walking distance to restaurants. Liked the closeness to the centre of town. Ample fire places to have a lekka braai.
