Our room was clean, stylish, and fully equipped with all the comforts we needed. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Breakfast was another highlight — a lovely buffet selection with delicious cheeses, homemade chia porridge, croissants... Hot options to order. All you need to start the day right. Franschhoek has so much more to offer than just the famous wine tram and fine dining. We enjoyed a stunning hike up Matoppie, followed by some well-deserved relaxation by the pool — the perfect escape for us as parents of three, enjoying a rare child-free getaway. We would absolutely recommend Macaron Guesthouse to anyone looking for a mix of comfort, charm, and local experience.

Lavender Farm Boutique Guest House ligger langs haveruten, kun 2 km fra Franschhoek og i en dal omgivet af bjerge. Gæsterne kan slappe af på en liggestol ved poolen under en parasol. Gorgeous looking Guest house and grounds . We stayed in one of suites overlooking the lavender Field which had a small terrace with table and chairs to chill. Spacious and large room. Breakfast was great. Slightly out of main drag of town but easy with an Uber to get around if needed. We did 3 of the vineyards on the tram tour which was great and enough on a hot day.

Eikendal Lodge ligger blandt vinmarker ved foden af Helderberg Mountain, nær Stellenbosch, og har frodige haver og en swimmingpool. Fabulous accommodation, immaculately clean, beautifully maintained gardens, friendly staff and delicious breakfasts. I can’t recommend strongly enough for a base to explore the wine farms, Stellenbosch and wider area.

Man føler sig virkelig velkommen og oplever service på et meget højt plan. Super lækker morgenmad. Super hyggelig og hjemlig atmosfære og stemning.
