It boasts an outdoor pool and fine dining. The rooms were beautifully decorated. The food in the restaurant was outstanding and the bar service were the best. We had an amazing 2 night stay for a group of 10. Everyone wanted to stay longer!

Situated along the garden route, only 2 km from Franschhoek, Lavender Farm Boutique Guest House is nestled in a valley surrounded by mountains. Guests can relax on a sun lounger, poolside, under an umbrella. Gorgeous looking Guest house and grounds . We stayed in one of suites overlooking the lavender Field which had a small terrace with table and chairs to chill. Spacious and large room. Breakfast was great. Slightly out of main drag of town but easy with an Uber to get around if needed. We did 3 of the vineyards on the tram tour which was great and enough on a hot day.

Featuring a private patio or terrace with views over the garden and the mountains, the rooms and suites at the Eikendal are elegantly decorated. They all have a seating area and a granite bathroom. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout. It was wonderful, Fiona had been so welcoming, showed me everything. The room was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. I loved lying by the pool! Later on I enjoyed a cream cheese wine pairing and a red wine tasting! After that my bed was calling very loudly and I had a very good night sleep in an extraordinary comfy bed. Next morning I woke up with a stunning view of the mountains. Breakfast was perfect, everything there and nicely arranged, always attended to by Fiona.It was just wonderful. I’m definitely coming back!
