Head over Hills is an exclusive retreat in Knysna. Set on the jagged edge of the famous rocky cliffs of the Knysna Heads, this well-appointed guest house has a heated swimming pool. Loved everything. Staff are very attentive and always eager to make your stay comfortable.

Located in Keurboomstrand, Singing Kettle Beach Lodge features panoramic views of the Indian Ocean and has an à la carte restaurant, terrace and free WiFi. The staff were exceptional (thank you, Dee and Michelle), and the rooms were top-class, with comfortable beds and fresh, clean linen. Kitchen appliances were a helpful convenience, and small touches like beach towels, beach chairs, boogie boards, etc... made our trip most memorable. The views from the rooms are absolutely amazing, and the restaurant below adds a great holiday vibe!

Offering views of the Keurboom Lagoon and the ocean, La Vista Lodge is a 3-minute drive from the centre of Plettenberg Bay. It features an outdoor pool with sun loungers. The view, the location, the service, the breakfast, everything was exceptional. It was our first time here and we ABSOLUTELY will come back once again in Plett 😊

Overlooking the Indian ocean, Dune Beach House is set on the beachfront in Wilderness. It features an outdoor pool and free Wi-Fi access is available throughout. Attention: you may not want to leave your room! The sea breeze room, where I stayed for two nights, is mind blowing. The view actually looks better in real life, and the balcony is very big. The hotel was very quiet and relaxing, and the staff was also very nice. The breakfast in the morning was very good, and the fruit tray was impressive ! There are a couple of good restaurants at a walking distance (Salinas, which can be reached by walking on the beach, and Joplins Steak Bar - not the nicest walk near the road but there is a pedestrian route and it’s only 6 minutes away. Amazing steak!). I have stayed in many nice hotels, but the experience of overlooking directly the beach from your bed is incredible. The mini bar was full of drinks and snacks, and the honesty system was very appreciated. The room was very clean and the overall experience was safe and beautiful.

Offering an outdoor pool and a cosy lounge and bar, Parkes Manor is a classic, historical house located within 2 km from the Knysna Waterfront. Amazing hotel. Room was lovely and spacious, staff were so helpful and breakfast was really tasty. Beautiful views of the lagoon from the hotel. Great location, quick 15 min walk to the waterfront.

The luxurious, 5-star Alexander Guest House offers individually designed rooms and suites. A spacious sun terrace offers guests a place to relax beside the outdoor pool. The hosts were warm and helpful, the views wonderful and the breakfast delicious. The decor is eclectic and tasteful.

A boulevard leads directly to the beach (like 2 minutes down hill). Super lovely room, clean, spacey, great air conditioning. Friendly hosts. Great breakfast (if you want even outside with sea view). It's a pitty we stayed only for a night.

This former power station is located in Knysna and offers sunny suites with an iPod docking station and views of the Knysna Lagoon. The spacious sun deck comes with an outdoor pool. friendly staff, good service, interesting style and stylish furniture.

Falcons View Manor is situated on a hill overlooking Knysna Lagoon, 700 metres from the town centre. It features an outdoor pool, a library and free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel. The Manor House is stunning and a lovely place to stay. Sue and Danelle were very warm and welcoming, the rooms are very spacious and classy and the view over Knysna is wonderful. Breakfast was delicious and the dinner was exceptional. A we'll managed venue and although it was very brief, we were always made to feel very welcome and we really enjoyed our short stay.
