Situated at the base of the wild Tsitsikamma Mountains, The Fernery overlooks an impressive 30-metre waterfall in the Sanddrift River gorge. This is a piece of paradise. The chalet is very comfortable and well equipped and maintained. The restaurant offers excellent food options. The breakfast is amazing. I recommend staying here at least for three nights.

Located in Keurboomstrand, Singing Kettle Beach Lodge features panoramic views of the Indian Ocean and has an à la carte restaurant, terrace and free WiFi. The location, decor and cleanliness were fabulous, stunning view and the greeting from the host were ALL amazing. Thank you! We LOVED this stay!

Offering views of the Keurboom Lagoon and the ocean, La Vista Lodge is a 3-minute drive from the centre of Plettenberg Bay. It features an outdoor pool with sun loungers. The view from the lodge is amazing. The breakfast buffet was great and the room was really big and clean. The pictures match reality.

Overlooking the Indian ocean, Dune Beach House is set on the beachfront in Wilderness. It features an outdoor pool and free Wi-Fi access is available throughout. The whole experience from being met by Bernard and his enthusiasm of art. It was like being at home and not in a hotel. Breakfast looking over the breakers and looking out hoping to see the whales and dolphin’s kept my eyes wandering from my wife. To looking through the vast glass windows making me feel that I could just step out onto the 5km of sandy beach. Breakfast and evening meals were exquisite, and well presented.

Offering an outdoor pool and a cosy lounge and bar, Parkes Manor is a classic, historical house located within 2 km from the Knysna Waterfront. Beautiful room, delicious breakfast and great service, including an early check in. It was a wonderful experience and I’m sorry I couldn’t stay longer.

The luxurious, 5-star Alexander Guest House offers individually designed rooms and suites. A spacious sun terrace offers guests a place to relax beside the outdoor pool. This was service above and beyond, all staff greeted us by name at all times. The house and rooms are just amazing, warm and inviting. We were just blown away. Breakfast was so well presented and delicious. Wayne & Dirk are amazing hosts and we will highly recommend a visit to this Guest House .. it is a must and the views are just incredible

Dolphin Dunes was an exceptional experience from the moment we arrived until we left. It was such a pity we were only able to spend one evening at the Dunes. We would highly recommend the guesthouse, with its fabulous views, very friendly staff and their attention to detail. We hope to return in the future, and hopefully to stay longer!

This former power station is located in Knysna and offers sunny suites with an iPod docking station and views of the Knysna Lagoon. The spacious sun deck comes with an outdoor pool. The room is small but has a patio, which made it feel cozy and inviting. It was easy to sit outside and enjoy the view, especially in the mornings—watching people swim and others paddle small boats.

Falcons View Manor is situated on a hill overlooking Knysna Lagoon, 700 metres from the town centre. It features an outdoor pool, a library and free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel. The Manor House is stunning and a lovely place to stay. Sue and Danelle were very warm and welcoming, the rooms are very spacious and classy and the view over Knysna is wonderful. Breakfast was delicious and the dinner was exceptional. A we'll managed venue and although it was very brief, we were always made to feel very welcome and we really enjoyed our short stay.

With an outdoor pool facing the Knysna Lagoon, Waterfront Lodge offers spacious rooms with satellite TV and free private parking. Simola Golf Course is 4 km away. Waterfront Lodge is absolutely lovely. We really enjoyed our stay here and the owners are very welcoming. They gave us great tips for sightseeing and restaurants to visit. The place is wonderfully decorated and very comfortable. Highly recommend people to stay here.
