Situated at the base of the wild Tsitsikamma Mountains, The Fernery overlooks an impressive 30-metre waterfall in the Sanddrift River gorge. Just perfect! Just out in the bush everything was clean and comfortable. The most friendly staff and a good kitchen. Great hiking possibilities as well to enjoy nature. They are building a new restaurant and will turn parts of the old restaurant/bar into rooms. Just hope they keep some parts of the current restaurant for a drink since it has the most beautiful views!

Head over Hills is an exclusive retreat in Knysna. Set on the jagged edge of the famous rocky cliffs of the Knysna Heads, this well-appointed guest house has a heated swimming pool. The staff there is very friendly and always helping

Located in Keurboomstrand, Singing Kettle Beach Lodge features panoramic views of the Indian Ocean and has an à la carte restaurant, terrace and free WiFi. Location, location, what a spot! If you are looking to be away from the city, on the water and having access to a restaurant on site, this is the place to go. There are several other restaurants near by but will need to drive. Service is top notch, they have though of every details.

Offering views of the Keurboom Lagoon and the ocean, La Vista Lodge is a 3-minute drive from the centre of Plettenberg Bay. It features an outdoor pool with sun loungers. What a wonderful property. The views are fantastic and the facilities were superb. We were fortunate to book room 1, which has a seperate living room and a huge decking area overlooking Plett bay. The staff were efficient and would do everything to assist. The breakfast and service exceptional. Nigel & Lynn Wraysbury.

Overlooking the Indian ocean, Dune Beach House is set on the beachfront in Wilderness. It features an outdoor pool and free Wi-Fi access is available throughout. Amazing stay, one of our favorites so far here in SA. Amazing room, big , comfortable and has everything we needed. The view was to die for, and sleeping with the sound of the ocean was wonderful. Incredible breakfast and staff that go above and beyond. We wish we could have stayed longer, and will definitely be back for longer than two days next time

Offering an outdoor pool and a cosy lounge and bar, Parkes Manor is a classic, historical house located within 2 km from the Knysna Waterfront. Stop scrolling ! if you are after somewhere FANTASTIC within reach of Kynsna water front restaurants look no further. Big house- lovely garden and gorgeous pool. fabulous breakfast (standard is so high, it’s hard to standout but this completely does). lovely interior - sitting room breakfast room, amazing bathroom - white sheets clean and lovely. just stop. stop here and you won’t regret it.

The luxurious, 5-star Alexander Guest House offers individually designed rooms and suites. A spacious sun terrace offers guests a place to relax beside the outdoor pool. This was service above and beyond, all staff greeted us by name at all times. The house and rooms are just amazing, warm and inviting. We were just blown away. Breakfast was so well presented and delicious. Wayne & Dirk are amazing hosts and we will highly recommend a visit to this Guest House .. it is a must and the views are just incredible

The guesthouse is 2min walk from the beach. We had the beach all to ourselves. It was an amazing stay and we'll definitely be back.

This former power station is located in Knysna and offers sunny suites with an iPod docking station and views of the Knysna Lagoon. The spacious sun deck comes with an outdoor pool. Clean, amazingly helpful and friendly staff, great location and fabulous breakfast.

Falcons View Manor is situated on a hill overlooking Knysna Lagoon, 700 metres from the town centre. It features an outdoor pool, a library and free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel. The Manor House is stunning and a lovely place to stay. Sue and Danelle were very warm and welcoming, the rooms are very spacious and classy and the view over Knysna is wonderful. Breakfast was delicious and the dinner was exceptional. A we'll managed venue and although it was very brief, we were always made to feel very welcome and we really enjoyed our short stay.
