Forum Homini Boutique Hotel is set within a residential wildlife estate, only 13 km outside of Muldersdrift. It offers luxurious cave-style accommodation and a fine dining restaurant. I loved the peace and quiet that the hotel managed to offer. While finer-dining is not really my forte, it was truly excellent as an exploration of flavours and textures. The facilities were clean and wonderful, the staff made it absolutely magical.

Everything I could have wanted and more. Conway and Tatiana were exceptional hosts who helped make everything I wanted happen, from arranging transport from the airport to recommending places to eat and visit, to setting up dinner reservations, there was nothing they were not able to do for us. I cannot say we enough good things about them and the rest of the staff. Excellent stay.

Located in Houghton, The Residence is a boutique hotel that offers spacious suites with a spa bath, and a balcony overlooking the garden, the fire pit or the outdoor pool. We loved the design of this hotel. It was like Ethan Allen had had a hand in decorating the public spaces - it was so perfectly boho British Colonial. We loved the cozy bar and the lush plantings on the grounds of the hotel. Also loved the breezeway with the coy pond on the way to the bar and restaurant. Our room was very comfortable. The staff was laid back while still being professional. We have stayed in many places in South Africa that were super-duper deluxe. We liked that The Residence felt more homey and comfortable without being over the top.

This award-winning boutique hotel, located in a tranquil suburb of Sandton, impresses with its Balinese Spa, excellent restaurant and world-class suites. I thoroughly loved the serenity, the decor was amazing, the grounds felt like a retreat in the midst of a city. After what was a lovely stay in Capetown for me, to come here was just so lovely. The food was top notch. The people exceeded expectation. I felt truly well looked after by everyone I engaged with. I lost my data so I’ve forgotten some of the names but I recall Charlotte I think from the restaurant at breakfast. I enjoyed lovely conversations with her amidst great service. Another lady at reception, a manager I think was just amazing, we took some photos and videos as I left to go back home. It was such a memorable stay. Amazing people. Amazing property.
