Riverside Guest Lodge offers panoramic views of Grobbelaars River and Swartberg Mountains. It offers air-conditioned rooms and wooden cottages. There is a main deck with a splash pool, a bar, and a barbecue. This property is superb in all regards. The hosts, Elza and Albert, are gracious, welcoming, and ever so helpful. We just returned from almost 3 weeks in South Africa, staying in a number of guest houses. Riverside was our most enjoyable stay. We regretted not having booked a longer stay at this wonderful establishment. The attention to detail in all matters of the accommodation are quite remarkable, really. This is a must stay when in the Outdshoorn/George area. The breakfast room and fare were very upscale without feeling stuffy. Food was delicious!

The welcome was exceptional, with a glass of wine and an interesting conversation with Venita. The place is unbeatable: every detail has been carefully chosen, and it shows. The house is beautiful and our bedroom, besides being beautiful, was very comfortable. I should mention that we booked the wrong date, and she changed it for us without any problem. In the morning, since we had to go see the meerkats, she served us breakfast when we came back. It was a pity not to stay longer. Everything 10/10!!

It is set in a tropical garden and offers an outdoor swimming pool and a spacious terrace. A lot of thought and heart has gone into making the Earthbound Guesthouse a great place to stay! A truly eclectic, personal touch in each room/area - a whole lot of care and attention has been given to every little detail 👌🏼 We thoroughly recommend staying Marie very kindly helped us out with my wife's father (a senior 80+). She even kindly upgraded us so we could have rooms next to each... and so he had level access Marie you really went above and beyond for us, thank you! The place is very, very clean - we slept well! We had the place to ourselves, so it was exceptionally quiet! Beautiful pool to cool off in!

Situated on the main road, on the fringe of Oudtshoorn, this 4-star Victorian guest house is set in a large exotic garden. Hlangana Lodge is within walking distance of many restaurants within Oudtshoorn. Easy to find on our way to Cango caves, easy access, parking, friendly and helpful staff, nice warm rooms for winter, nice facilities, breakfast included.
