I loved the hospitality and the aura of the bed and breakfast , the owner was exceptional and even left a birthday chocolate bar for my cousin who we were celebrating . The garden was the best part for me where we sat and made a few memories . I would like to genuinely thank the Gerald (owner ) for the amazing stay and cleanliness as well as the quality of it all was worth it

Just 17 km north of Durban, in the heart of Umhlanga Rocks, Anchors Rest offers elegant rooms with free Wi-Fi. The guest house features an outdoor pool, a large garden, and free private parking. Excellent Guest House. As a group of 8 we had the whole place to ourselves. The pool and rooms were great, the breakfast offering was really good and the bonus was that it was within walking distance to the restaurants and beach. We only stayed one night this time, but can't wait to return next time we visit the area.

Very beautiful, well located guesthouse with a fantastic staff. The guesthouse manager Ninette is fantastic at helping with dinner suggestions and reservations as well as things to do and to see in Durban. There is even a shuttle service from the hotel bringing you to the restaurant and back, if you like. We had dinner at a beautiful restaurant observing thunder and lightning over the sea as it was rainy that day. Our room was fantastic with a sea view and we loved it. Breakfast was delicious, fresh and with a good variety.

This is a really beautiful facility, and the separate rooms are very quiet and pretty. For breakfast, they had veggie sausages available for us vegans, which was really great as we had a long drive ahead of us. The photos are amazing but also accurate!! We are very happy to recommend Lodge Afrique.

Situated 1 km from both the iSimangaliso Wetland Park and the beach, this guesthouse offers leisure activities in tranquil surroundings. Everything....the best breakfasts we had in our 5-week stay in SA. The garden is beautifully landscaped, and the entire guesthouse is tastefully decorated with interesting and unique items. Colin and Natalie are wonderful hosts and very knowledgeable about the area and gave valuable advice during our stay. They have thought of everything to make your stay as pleasant as possible. For example, the room had plenty of space to store luggage out of the way. The bathroom had plenty of space to put your toiletries. The list goes on and on. The staff is remarkable, Clement even washed and vacuumed our car! The laundry service was also perfect.we are
