Riverside Guest Lodge offers panoramic views of Grobbelaars River and Swartberg Mountains. It offers air-conditioned rooms and wooden cottages. This property is superb in all regards. The hosts, Elza and Albert, are gracious, welcoming, and ever so helpful. We just returned from almost 3 weeks in South Africa, staying in a number of guest houses. Riverside was our most enjoyable stay. We regretted not having booked a longer stay at this wonderful establishment. The attention to detail in all matters of the accommodation are quite remarkable, really. This is a must stay when in the Outdshoorn/George area. The breakfast room and fare were very upscale without feeling stuffy. Food was delicious!

Very friendly and accommodating staff, everything was very clean, breakfast was great. Location is safe and you can walk around the area.

Perfect location between V&A and Waterfront. Staff were amazing. The rooms and pool were incredible. Can’t recommend enough!!

The staff was incredibly friendly and always ready to help with a smile. The location is perfect—close to everything you need, yet still peaceful. The rooms were really clean and nice. I truly enjoyed every moment of my time here and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay. I will definitely come back!
