What we liked: that the proprietor went to great lengths to help us, even coming personally to facilitate our complicated after-closing check in. All the staff went to great lengths to make us feel welcome. The breakfast was one of the best we've encountered, with a remarkable variety of home-made jams and eggs served individually. Thoughtful touches in the rooms, loved the balcony and bay window. Location next to river.

Lovely friendly staff. Super comfy room which was spacious. There is a laundry room which is self service and is really handy when you are travelling. Really near the tram and funicular.
