Beautiful large old hotel, that dates back to the 1500s. Large room, comfortable beds, great Wifi, and charming owners and staff. Excellent fish dinner, good coffee and lovely architecture. Has a free sauna and steam room on request, which was very clean and refreshing. They got us cards to get into an excellent local swimming pool for half price too. Would recommend it, and we hope to come back.

This hotel is located 5-10 mins walk from the center of Fussen (depending on how fast you walk). Simply walk out of town along Augsburger Strasse and turn right onto Sauling Strasse and you're there. The breakfast was as good as any continental style breakfast with a good selection of breads, meats, cheeses, fruits and cereal etc. I'm a solo traveler so I booked a single room. The room was a little small but it had a beautiful balcony and had everything required for a comfortable stay. I spent no time in the room other than sleeping & showering so it was absolutely perfect for my needs.
