I loved Jephson! I stayed here for 5 days and would happily have stayed more. The staff were absolutely lovely, so friendly and helpful. Toowong is actually a great option, about 15-20 minutes on the bus or train to the centre or about half an hour on the ferry. Toowong village shopping centre is 5 minutes walk and has loads of infrastructure, there's a street full of good Asian restaurants and coffee shops between the station/bus stop and the hotel and KatsuCo next to the hotel is excellent. It's worth taking the public transport to take advantage of the significantly better price.

We liked everything about this modern, plush and outstanding hotel. Every member of staff we encountered was polite, pleasant, attentive and eager to please. Our room was stunning, the attention to detail in the décor was outstanding and bed so comfortable that we overslept on both nights of our stay. Breakfast was more than ample with plenty of choice and again with members on staff on hand at all times to replenish the fayre and get you that extra cup of coffee. The hotel is also in a great location overlooking the Brisbane River and the Southbank area. All parts of the CBD are within a ten minute walk.

A very spacious, clean and modern apartment with fully equipped kitchen and excellent air-conditioning system. We only had one night, and checked in very late due to our flight to Brisbane. The manager and staff was very friendly and helpful. Recommended. Also not far away from a shopping center. Nice beginn of a great journey.
