Perfect location. Spacious room. Very clean. Quiet and cosy. Friendly staff.

The hotel and staff were magnificent! From the moment we arrived we were warmly greeted with smiles by Vasilis (a very friendly Greek guy), who took our luggage to store until our room was ready and escorted us till the reception. At the reception another lovely surprise awaited us, Anastasiya, who was the warmest receptionist I have ever came across in my life, full of smiles and kindness, ready to assist in everyway possible. She gave us an upgrade to our rooms and arranged to at least get one of the rooms we booked earlier, which in our case travelling with older people in our group (parents with mobility problems) was a godsend! In all our days at the hotel seeing Anastasiya in morning with her warm smile made our day so much more fun!!! Our rooms were extremely spacious, beds were a dream, excellent mattresses, top notch products of Clarins (shampoos, conditioners, bodywash and lotions), daily housekeeping who even left us little chocolates every afternoon. Breakfast was also rich with a lot of varieties to choose from and the platters were stocked continuously with fresh produce. Also the hotel was right in the city center, in Serdika metro station and were all main tourist highlights are located. Couldnt have asked for a better location. Hopefully, we will be able to visit Sofia again soon and will be staying for sure at Sofia Balkan Palace, and I hope our sweet and lovely Anastasiya will be there once again to greet us!!! At Sofia Balkan Palace it was as if our every wish was met and came true. We had such a wonderful stay and experience, that made us feel so special and unique. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to all of the Hotel Staff and management.

Location was perfect, close to a metro & other transport options. It was opposite a nice park with a few bars and restaurants nearby. Close to the city centre so you can walk to most places. The area felt safe and even though you were in the centre you couldn't hear any noise from the apartment. The apartment was clean, modern and felt homey. The kitchen had everything you might need, the coffee machine and pods are a great facility. Bathroom was clean & the shower was hot with good water pressure. We found the bed was super comfy and had no trouble sleeping. Our host was friendly and sent us lots of useful information before we came, even had instructions on how to use things like the TV and coffee machine which is great if you're not familiar with that type. They also checked in by message to ensure everything was ok.

Very nice location, huge building, huge rooms, very nice casino and restaurants!

The apartment is in new building, there is a Lidl right next door. A 10 min walk from the main sqare. The kitchen was well equipped, the bathroom was clean. Very quiet neighborhood.

Rooms were great and the lady at reception was fantastic. Made us feel and home and was very friendly and helpful.
