Everything. From the location of the hotel to the really really nice staff, to the modern design of the hotel. It was so easy to get from one place to another because the trams all stopped a few steps away from our hotel. We had a problem with booking.com tbh, because they cancelled our booking while I was mid flight. I opened my phone to find out that our booking had been cancelled. I had to call the hotel to ensure that our booking was still secure because really, we had no where else to stay. I was so appreciative that they held on to our booking because they too were surprised about the sudden cancellation. The staff assisted us the entire time and were so gracious and pleasant to coordinate with. From this, to the check in, to the check out..everything was perfect. I highly highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a pleasant stay in Basel.

The renovated apartment was modern, spotless, and well-equipped, making for a very comfortable stay. The location was perfect - right by the Rhine, with beautiful views and easy access to cafes, shops, and public transport. Evening walks along the river were a highlight!
