The hotel is new (3 years) and located in the city center. My room was big and comfortable, well equipped and maintained. The cleaning was excellent, and they did everything I asked with a smile. Breakfast was great, with a variety of food and also a menu that offered some more options. Great hotel by all aspects.

Fantastic facilities, we liked the layout, it worked well for our family group and the apartment had everything we needed. Good location. Very clean and well appointed. The biggest asset for these apartments is Maria the manager. This is someone who goes out of her way to ensure you have a good stay. She's efficient, friendly and kind. With huge parades in the old town on the day we were leaving, she realized that we wouldn't be able to get the taxi booked and even though it was her off day and the weekend, she arrived to escort us to a part outside of the old town and organized transport for us. She really is a star. We really enjoyed our spacious, spotlessly clean and neat apartment with the balcony an added bonus. The location was so perfect in the old town, you could walk everywhere and we were surrounded by restaurants, bakeries and a grocery store. Very close to the Rathuis and market square.

Clean, modern and big enough rooms with comfortable beds. There is also a small outdoor patio on the first floor and a clean and spatius common area. Easy access if the prior check-in has been has been done as requested (they even reminded me the same morning so I would not miss it). Fast response to questions. Great location on quiet side street. Super happy with our stay and gladly recommend this hotel to others

Everything about our stay at Motel One was perfect - from the customer service check in to the location which is great for walking to stores, restaurants, etc. and the breakfast bar was great. Wonderful stay here, we would highly recommend.

Cristina - she is a very kind and helpful lady😇 She checked me in even if i arrived before check-in time, and upgraded my room😊 - these are things that take away your travel fatigue, and will make you stay in that hotel again! My room was very comfortable and complete; quiet neighborhood and i love the sound of church bells ringing. Very easy to reach from the Basel train station - take tram 11 and go down at the Universtatpital (Hospital) and walk up a few meters.

Our room on the top floor was excellent. We had a great view of the nearby church lit up at night it was excellent. The bathroom was great and the room we had was spacious. Having an elevator in the building was a bonus for getting our luggage up to the room.
