Incredible view of the lake and mountains. The owner runs everything very efficiently. It was flawless. He was very kind, nice, polite, efficient. The hotel has a great atmosphere. Makes you feel good being there. My family loved it. We took 2 bedrooms on opposite sides of the hotel. So we had both views and both were lovely. Free car park right in front of the hotel is certainly a lovely bonus.

This hotel is situated in Meggen, just 700 metres away from Lake Lucerne. It offers an Italian restaurant with garden terrace. All rooms have a bathroom and cable TV.

Everything was as it should be, clean and nice. The garden was also good. The atmosphere nearby was also worth seeing, I would like to be there once more!

Our rooms are connecting room with super nice lake view. The spa was too good to be true. There are choices of steam room and saunas, indoor and outdoor pool. We like the outdoor pool in particular, because it is clean and with less people. You can swim under water and ask your family member to take video or photos for you through the Bull"s Eye. Also, there is a floating pool in the spa which you should not missed. All in all, we had a great time in the spa.

Housed in a former Guild Hall, the Hotel des Balances enjoys a picturesque location on the Reuss river in the heart of Old Lucerne. Wi-Fi is available free of charge.

Number of nights - 1 Room type - Queen Room Pros: 1. Room - the room is clean however is very small. It has all the amenities you require, however if you have 2 suitcases, it difficult to open it :) 2. Bathroom - clean and spacious 3. Staff - very friendly. The staff invited us for free drinks at bar in the evening. 4. Location - excellent. It is central and right on the water. You can enjoy your meals at the balcony and enjoy the views. 5. Breakfast - it was fresh and tasty. 6. Value for money - a bit at the expensive side but it is due to quality and location.
