This hotel one of the best hotels that we stayed! But its dived to 2 parts, do one part is less good, and one part (5 stars) i think its best one. Swiss service, swiss quality.

Great localization in the center of the city, close to train station, lake across the street. The room was small, but clean and had all the advertised features, especially air conditioning and lake view. Breakfast had modest selection, but was good and should be good enough for most people.

Set within the centre of Lugano, Hotel Pestalozzi is only 150 metres away from the shores of Lake Lugano. Free Wi-Fi is available.

Great location, close to the attractions of Lugano yet in a quiet spot. Buses right outside door, walking distance to bars and restaurants and waterfront. Beautiful streets around. Reception staff were very helpful at all times with great English skills available and ready advice about accessing attractions. But were also especially helpful in arranging an appointment for timely medical treatment. Meals were great and all staff were friendly and accommodating. Definitely would stay there again! Top marks!

The Hotel de la Paix is near Lake Lugano, about 1 km from the city centre and the train station. It offers an out-door pool, free WiFi, free parking on site and free minibar use.

Such a lovely hotel. Perfectly situated on the waterfront in Lugano's old town, the fairly unassuming exterior only hints at how nice it is inside. There's a beautiful garden with an outdoor pool, a giant chess set and lots of corners to sit and enjoy a drink whilst drinking in the view. Inside, there is a lavishly furnished lounge area with a well-stocked 'honesty bar'. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the whole stay was a delight. I only had a small room this time without a lake view as it was the last room left, but my colleague had a balcony and said it was fabulous. Would love to come again!

This family-owned hotel is centrally located just a short walk from Lugano town centre and its breathtaking lakeshore, and the famous Piazza Riforma with its many sidewalk cafés.
