I recently stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott Zurich North, and overall, it was a very solid experience. The hotel’s location is its biggest strength, just a short walk from Zurich Oerlikon train station, making it incredibly easy to get to both the airport and the city center in under 10 minutes. It is also within walking distance of restaurants, shops, and the train station. The rooms are modern, spacious, well-furnished, and quiet, with comfortable beds and large windows. Everything felt very clean and well-maintained. Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, and the hotel offers thoughtful extras like a 24/7 grab-and-go market, a fitness center, and underground parking. The staff were friendly and professional, and check-in/out was smooth.

Hotel Sternen Oerlikon is just a 5-minute walk from Zurich-Oerlikon Train Station, the Hallenstadion (indoor stadium), and the Messe Zurich (exhibition centre).

The clean and quiet room was wonderful, providing a truly relaxing atmosphere throughout my stay. I was especially impressed by the ambiance in the hotel—the soothing music, pleasant fragrance, and vibrant colors in the lobby all contributed to a welcoming environment. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, not just with me but with all the guests. The breakfast was delicious, offering a wide variety of options. The apartment was clean and as described. It was not very old, but it was also not modern. The beds are comfortable but the bed-sofa was not very comfortable. Communication was good and fast. Self-check in was also very easy.
