Place was located in a beautiful spot to overlook sunset. The pool was a great touch to the unit & really improved the experience of our stay. I loved how close we were to the beach & the privacy as well. What made the experience even better was that the apartment was polished, modern but still had a touch of Raro too. We both really liked how there were additional features such as; laundry detergent, coils, coffee, tea, Netflix, etc. Having these features made us not want to leave the unit.

This adults only resort is situated on the white sand of Aroa Beach. Aroa Beachside Resort offers complimentary tropical breakfast and rooms with patios which give stunning ocean and beach views.

It could not get any better. Run by owner, a true professional but also great likeable person. An impeccable place, all thought through. Felt like at home, but you also have your own space any minute you need. The food at the restaurant was super delicious - as the Chef said: prepared with love. Super supportive with me needing to get around and wiht some last minute laundry. If there was the option of 11 points, I would have to give them. Stayed only for one night - wish I had stayed longer.

+ Paul the owner: Paul makes himself 100% available for its customers, he is kind and sweet, a gentle giant 🤗 he is flexible, generous, helpful, and you can tell that he loves what he does 🩷 thank you again Paul for your warm welcome, your little attentions for my birthday and celebrating Christmas with us ! We felt at home at the Black Pearl, thanks to you ✨ + large and clean swimming pool + kitchen equipped with all the kitchenware and tools + laundry machine and dryer (for a fee and common to all) + beautiful garden, well maintained by Paul! + location: right by the bus stop, right next to a small supermarket, bicycles and cars rental close by + Paul’s availability +++ + barbecue (available to all) + the shower: great pressure !! and constant hot water + safe (camera, locks on doors, keys, etc) + there is a phone with a prepaid card in each room, this is super useful to call local phone numbers ! + the beach is literally across the street (3m away from Paul’s place) and is beautiful and clean. There are lots of corals though so take some reef shoes (Paul provides them at the accommodation :))

Mama MIREKA highly recommend. She is such a beautiful host. House is immaculate yards are very tidy. Absolutely enjoyed our stay. loved listening to her speak of her children. the love in her eye's that that shows for her children and moko's that live in Aotearoa when speaking of them. As well as her belated husband. Thank you so much for everything and opening up your home and making us feel like family I will always remember the aroha that you have shown us whilst our visit to Rarotonga. I like the whole experience at Edgewater. From the moment we arrived at the airport we were greeted with flower necklace and the cold water (which we brought to NZ as souvenir as the bottle was aluminum), to the warm welcome receptionist and so on. All the staff were so accommodating and they made us feel at home especially Adi who did our room service, she's very friendly. To Elijah and John from the bar, they're hardworking. To Apii from Coconut Club, thank you for looking after my kids. I would recommend this place to my friends and we'll definitely comeback.

I liked that the host Liana was very accommodating when making last minute adjustments. The suite itself was very beautiful, it was a 5 minute walk to the city,and very private. The air conditioning in both rooms was great for those muggy nights, the pool was fantastic too,it was just a great stay,would definitely stay there again.
