I really enjoyed my stay here. The location is perfect, very close to the park. The food was delicious! The rooms are clean and comfortable. But the best of all was the lovely family that lives there. Carol, her mother and Tuotuo were amazing hosts. I would love to stay here again.

Mary, our host, was absolutely amazing. She was super nice and instantly made us feel at home. We will certainly miss her home cooked meals (huge portions that would fuel us for the day or embrace us after a long day in the foggy mountains). In the afternoon/evenings she would greet us with some freshly brewed tea, seasonal fruits and snacks. Additionally she very kindly made our visits to the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park and Tianmen Mountan super convenient by planning out everything for every possible scenario and prebooking our tickets and also preparing bottled water and rain coats for us. There is a washing machine, but our host offered to do the laundry for us. The rooms were very homey and clean and had everything you needed and even more.

This was such a wonderful place to unwind after exploring the park. The location couldn't be better - just a short walk to the trails. Our room was clean, cozy and had a gorgeous view. The staff were so friendly and helped us map out our day. Loved the pool and the little creek running through the property. Felt very peaceful and well taken care of. Thanks for a great stay! We'd definitely recommend.

Staying here was amazing. The room is clean and just like advertised. The best thing about the hotel has to be how helpful Carol (one of the ladies who runs the hotel) is. She speaks great English and she helped us a great deal with booking drivers, organising our days in the park and finding alternatives in case of bad weather. She gave us great tips about lesser known parts of the park which aren’t even on most maps, which turned out to be the best views that we had. We got unlucky and the park was unexpectedly closed for 2 days during our stay and she drove us to the ticket office and even negotiated us a refund. The hotel is a lovely family run business and the food that we could order for breakfast and dinner was delicious. There were sockets that we could plug our european chargers into which was also a plus. Overall I would definitely recommend staying here because of the great hospitality and easy access to the park.

This hotel, located at the west entrance of the national park, is truly a hidden gem. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, and they speak excellent English. You feel at home the moment you arrive! The food is absolutely delicious – we’d come back in a heartbeat.

The homestay is located in the forest park scenic area. The environment is super nice. There is a small courtyard and a swimming pool. There is also a small stream in front of the door where you can play in the water. The room was clean and comfortable. The landlady served us very warmly. The boss's dishes were delicious, especially the white-feathered black-bone chicken and cured meat at his place, which was particularly tasty. It was my favorite style. When we went to the mountains for a trip, we took the bus right at the door, which saved us a lot of time. It was a perfect travel experience. I'm very grateful to the landlady for providing us with the travel guide
