We really enjoyed out stay at hotel Ikona during our trip to Prague in December 2022. I especially liked the rich and warm breakfast and the staff. Their positive attitude stands out especially in comparison to most service providers in the city, who turned out to be rude and unkind. The location is also really nice. If you're lazy, you might not like the 15 minutes walk to main Old Town attractions every day, but it was nice to be a small distance away from the noise and polluted air of the christmas markets.

The location at Hotel Essence is excellent and the hotel staff at the reception were very helpful with directions, and helping us book our transport to Holiday Inn Airport Hotel. We had our luggage stored at the luggage storage room and came back to put more shopping items, which was graciously attended to by the sweet young lady at the reception. Thanks to Hotel Essence hospitality. There was even a radiator which my sister used every day.

Our room was clean and enormous. The hotel in the center but it was quiet in the night. Breakfast is really good. For such small hotel there was a really good variety of food and by the way you can eat on the terrace near the Pod Vezi tower. Moreover we were able to visit this tower using a free ticket provided by the hotel. It's the most interesting spot we had in Prague. Additional thanks to guys on the reception. They were really friendly and gave a lot of tips, which was usefull, so thank you!

The staff was great, always willing to help and giving me advice where to go, whether it was what pubs to visit during the evening (Euro 2024 was in full swing and Czech was playing) or what stores to visit when I needed to buy shorts and other clothes. Breakfas was good, had some options. The room was great and there were no noise between rooms. Bed was very good and I slept well. The room had shower and I prefer that.
