Amazing value for the money. It’s basically an apartment with balcony area in a quiet courtyard. The room is so beautifully decorated with foam mattress, kitchen sink, kettle, fridge, safe, slipper, bathrobe, free tea, coffee, even coke, milk and muesli. You check in at nearby cafe. However, the owner is not on site so it’s really like Airbnb. So the package I sent to myself was supposedly delivered to the hotel address but no one knows and forever lost. I should have communicated with the owner beforehand.

Staff was very nice, and helpful. Breakfast selection was not big, but very tasty. We stayed with a small dog and we were provided a basket and a bowl set. We recommend this nice and cozy hotel to everyone visiting Hamburg.

The Elysee is a wonderful hotel. Management thought of absolutely everything one could wish. From the size of the corridors to the comfort of the room. Every thing is super clean, generous and quiet. On rainy days the red awning on the windows make the room glow rather than looking gloomy. All 3 restaurants have perfect staff and wonderful food. The bar and cafe area near reception is wonderful as well.

Just a 2 minute walk from Planten un Blomen Park and the Schanzenviertel district, this 4-star hotel offers air-conditioned rooms, a Mediterranean restaurant and a 24-hour reception.

The bedroom was cosy and the bed had a very comfortable mattress. Breakfast had great variety of fresh products in a buffet service. The cleaning service was excellent and the staff was always helpful.

Room was very clean, hotel was very clean. Staff were lovely and very helpful. Great central location, close to trains and buses, said walk to the Alster - yet in a quiet, safe neighborhood. Instead of a mini-bar, there was a separate room offering cold drinks, snacks - at very reasonable prices, which was great. Continental breakfast; fresh cheeses, meats, smoked salmon, pastries, etc. Good value for money. Very comfortable stay, would definitely stay there again.

Sebastian was a fabulous host who would even cook you breakfast, it is a beautiful small hotel that felt more like home. Absolutely spotless, as others state the toilet being separate wasn’t even an issue.

This hotel occupies a mid-19th century Hanseatic building, in the popular district of Harvestehude and lies close to the Alster lake, Dammtor railway station and the exhibition grounds.
