Room, breakfast, facilities all excellent. The bar is a "must have" were it only for the spectacular views of the Alster and the city. We treated ourselves also to a dinner in the Lakeside restaurant. Great menu, very creative and delicious dishes, and the wine pairing offered was for the most part super.

I liked everything about the hotel. My hotel room was bright and clean. So too the breakfast room. The location, close to the train station, is very convenient and the neighbourhood very pleasant. The staff, as well, were all very pleasant. The university is close by, so shops and services such as reasonably priced restaurants and a laundromat were within reasonable walking distance.

I had a great short stay here, the room was cosy and clean, the bed was big and exceptionally comfortable. The hotel's team is very kind and helpful. I didn't take breakfast as I was having one in the cafes not far from the hotel, there is a mini-bar, i didn't use it either as I was doing my small shopping at the Dammtor station, but I think it is useful in case of emergency. I was also impressed by how good the plumbing facilities were although the space between the sink and the door is quite limited but it was not a dealbreaker for me. And for those who are easily disturbed by the sounds: well, it is not a modern building, so obviously you might hear your neighbour closing the door or people walking upstairs but honestly I cannot get how it can be dramatic. The street is very very quiet, there is hardly a car passing loudly next to the building and you can hear birds singing in the morning. It is quiet. Overall, cannot wait to come back and thank you for hosting ! Vielen dank !

The location in the middle of district with charming old German villas and not far away from city centre. Very calm and relaxing. The hotel is super nice and design is great. Natural materials and everything was so thoughtful. The personal was great. The bed was really comfortable and room was clean
